Our Story
My journey to creating Skievel is a story of transformation, resilience, and redemption. There was a time when I was living in the fast lane—partying every night, surrounded by people who wanted to be close to the lifestyle I had as a drug dealer. But that life came at a cost. I was incarcerated for over seven years, and when I was released, I came home to a reality I wasn’t prepared for: a little boy who had never met his father outside of prison walls.
The shift in my life was drastic and humbling. I went from being in the limelight to facing the challenges of rebuilding my life and learning how to be a father. It was a hard experience, but it taught me that the life I used to live was just a chapter—one that’s now closed. This new chapter, with my son by my side, is filled with light, joy, and purpose. He’s my reason for everything. He’s the reason I wake up every day, determined to do better, to be better, and to show him that no matter where you start, you can always choose a different path.
Passion meets Reflection
I’ve always had a passion for style and self-expression, but I could never find the kind of clothing that truly reflected who I am.
